Vanished?
Any time I go two weeks without posting anything here, I feel a little guilty. No matter how busy I get, there’s always time for just a little bit of sharing, even if it’s an abbreviated update. But here I am, back among the living.

David Copperfield. Cirque Du Soleil. Gordon Ramsay’s Pub & Grill. Going to the top of Stratosphere and the Eiffel Tower. Touring the Avengers and Hunger Games exhibits. Eight escape rooms. Yes- we had a full week!
I can’t believe I’ve only been in Las Vegas for just over two full days. Five escape rooms, a bunch of caches, and a whole lot of exploring the Vegas strip.
I’ve flown a lot over the past few years, and my flight to Vegas edged its way into my top 3 awful experiences. Story time!
This past Saturday, I topped my personal best number of escape rooms in a single day, changing that number from seven to eight. It’s a coincidence that both of those runs happened in St. Louis, but a fun coincidence.
It’s hard to believe we hit the road from Stamford only two days ago. We only stopped at one escape room and one Geocache along the way, but we also encountered a few scenarios that prove life is ultimately one big puzzle to solve.
It’s usually a good sign when I’ve been too busy to write, that I’ve had a lot of adventures in a short period of time. But on the verge of a trip back from CT to IL, I want to tell the story of last week, albeit briefly, before I start focusing on this next chapter!
I’m a few days late in completing this recap, but better late than never. Day 2 of our drive from Chicago to Stamford was just as eventful as the first, with one escape room, a few famous sites, and more rainy driving than I care to revisit.
I’m writing this update from a hotel in Youngstown, Ohio. So far, our trip has been a little bit on the harrowing side, but only due to the weather conditions on the road.
Stamford Connecticut- I’ve been there once in my life, for about an hour and a half. And now I’m going back for a much longer period of time.
