Bad Photo… But VEGAS!
Yes, this is the worst photo I’ve used on my blog. Blurry photo through windowshades with a too-visible screen. But it’s Vegas!

I stumbled across an incredible little travel secret this week while planning a Vegas trip. It’s going to revolutionize how I travel.
Final tally for the trip which started Friday before last – thirteen escape rooms and two Geocaches. I wish I had more time to explore some of the neat places I encountered but am ultimately happy with what I was able to see.
May 18, 2022 – Today, I’m doing a little exploring of upstate New York! It’s a bit of a bare section on my map of escape rooms played, and I’m rectifying that today!
I’m on my heels a bit right now- posting rapidly between legs of a journey. This weekend I took a quick trip down to southern Missouri, I’m back in Illinois now, and I have to hit the road for Rochester, New York before 7AM tomorrow.
With our dog finally fully trained and ready to stay with family members, Christina and I packed our bags for a whirlwind weekend trip. This kind of weekend used to be our bread and butter, but we had fallen a bit out of practice, and it was really satisfying to get back in the groove.
I only spent Thursday at the Transworld Escape Room show. I really enjoyed it, though, and plan to come back next year.
It’s my first time in a few years actually attending an escape room conference! I was around during Transworld last year but this is the first time I’m going to the event itself!
Our trip was a success! Starting and ending in Boise, Idaho, Christina and I completed a big circle around the northwest US, solving nine escape rooms along the way. But our strangest story involved VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner), not escape rooms.
It’s been a little while since we’ve taken a trip containing both a flight and a road trip. The last one that really hit that mark was exploring Colorado/Wyoming/Montana/Idaho at the end of 2018. I’m glad to say we’re back at it!
