No, I haven’t vanished without a trace. The past few weeks have been very busy wrapping up Christina’s and my wedding plans, and now we’re only two days out.
The dominoes are coming together for a fun wedding and honeymoon. Christina is sitting pretty at 99 escape rooms completed. Less than 2 miles from where I live, there’s an escape room with the theme of saving your wedding from a crazy ex’s sabotage. Everything just came together such that Christina’s 100th is the day before our wedding at this wedding themed room!
I believe a few relatives are setting up puzzle boxes on some of our tables at the reception, so even our wedding day should have some puzzle adventures. And we’ll have to find a way to grab a geocache some time, because we have a 90-some day streak going and we don’t want to break it!
On our honeymoon we’ll be able to visit an escape room in the Cayman Islands and grab new caches in the Caymans, Jamaica, and Tulum. We’ll be able to check out a few escape rooms in or near New Orleans we’ve heard a lot about. And of course, we’ll be able to relax just a little.
I’m not sure what kind of access to the internet I’ll have for most of my trip, but after returning from the honeymoon, Christina and I should be back with a vengeance. I’d like to get back into the world of puzzle creation, and I’ve got a lot of fun ideas ready to go.
