March 20, 2022 – I’ve been lucky to have the opportunity to play some really cool escape rooms on my birthday in the past, and 2022 was no exception. Escape Code in Branson has placed well in the USA Today escape room rankings, and I was curious to see what it was all about.
This past Saturday, I topped my personal best number of escape rooms in a single day, changing that number from seven to eight. It’s a coincidence that both of those runs happened in St. Louis, but a fun coincidence.
January 3, 2021- I left Springfield, MO with only about half of a plan. I knew it would involve at least one escape room, and hopefully more. Thankfully, Deadlock Escape had availability that evening.
I can’t imagine a better way to start the year. By the end of the day on January 4th, I had already completed 6 escape rooms, with only one of them in my home state of Illinois.
Jan 2, 2021 – Christina and I hit the road for the first time in a while to head down to Springfield, MO. In 2018, I passed near here on my way to Tulsa, but I hadn’t thoroughly explored the area.
I mentioned it in a previous post, but last weekend, March 23-24, I took a very quick journey to St. Louis and back. Between the morning of March 23 and the afternoon of March 24, I solved nine escape rooms. Even for an enthusiast, it felt like a lot, but I have no regrets!
May 25, 2018 – St. Louis Escape looks scary from the outside. You enter through an unadorned staircase adjacent to a loading dock. The entrance is well-labeled, thankfully, and that gives you the confidence to keep you moving forward, though you reach for your cell phone to make sure you can call for help if you run into any trouble.
