Do Themes Get Boring?
I saw a comment recently about how escape room players are bored of common themes like “jail break” and “Sherlock Holmes.” I have to respectfully disagree on two counts.

Christina and I were doubly excited to try out Rabbit Hole Escape Games in Tampa. For one, we had heard from a few different sources that Rabbit Hole’s games are some of the best in the Tampa area. And for another, I couldn’t wait to try Rabbit Hole’s escape room / mini golf hybrid. It’s the only game of this nature I’ve ever heard of- it might be the only one in the world.

Another jigsaw puzzle to add to the stack!

Ok, I’m cheating a little bit here. Two of these puzzles were completed before 3/20, which is the date I started my jigsaw puzzle tracker. I had these sitting on my table for quite some time before cleaning them up to make space for the next two.
In case the world wasn’t feeling quite grim enough, I got this gem from my navigation unit. “Need a break? Try the abandoned gas station just up the road!”
So things continue to get more and more dire out there. Somehow, I still haven’t managed to spend a single evening kicking back…
I have to admit, my first reaction to all the craziness about the epidemic was “Man, flights are getting cheap!” At the onset, Christina and I were excited about the month of April and the ability to take quick trips to places like San Diego and Myrtle Beach at record low prices.
