Ten days left in January, and there’s still a lot of work to do to get the first product of the year out the door. Given the time constraints for starting mid January, my hope is to at least have the order submitted for production by January 31st. In the meantime, here’s a new puzzle!
This one is more story/scenario-based. I really like this kind of puzzle and have a few books featuring a lot of puzzles like this, but it’s tough coming up with brand new ones.
I felt like writing something where a wizard was testing candidates for some kind of prize, but I changed my mind and kept it simple. Maybe I’ll work my way up to tests of kingship, but for now the stakes are reduced, and the only prize is a magician’s respect.
