Another jigsaw puzzle to add to the stack!

It had been a little while since we had put together a picture of natural scenery, and this was a good one to get back to it. The oversized Big Ben pieces are easy to handle and minimize the amount of squinting needed to spot where each piece fit into the puzzle. With such large pieces, this 500 piece puzzle was nearly as large as the last 1000 piece puzzle we did.
I really appreciated the bold color patterns in the sky and how that made it possible to organize our strategy. The lower half of the puzzle was a little more challenging, with lots of greens, browns, and purples, but with large pieces and only 500 of them, trial and error means progress will still be somewhat rapid.
WIth the virus keeping everyone stuck indoors and close to home, it’s nice to spend time looking at images of faraway landscapes, and this puzzle was a relaxing way to see a little bit of western China.
