So… I can follow a tutorial! For the first time ever, I’ve completed a Rubik’s Cube!
My experience with the Kosmos “Exit the Game” series has been hit or miss… And I’m starting to wonder if the difference in experience isn’t the specifics of each game but rather the environment in which I’m attempting to play it.
One day after the announcement that Navy Pier is closing indefinitely, I’m completing my Navy Pier jigsaw puzzle from Dowdle.
So I may need to rethink my chess goal for the year- after 7 games, I’m 4-1-2.
When I created this site, my #1 goal was related to escape rooms, and pound for pound escape rooms are still my favorite way to experience puzzles. However, its still exciting to me to see so much love being given to puzzles of all kinds, and as an enthusiastic hobbyist, I’m looking to try all of them.
Over the last few years, quite a few film studios have attempted to capture the magic of solving an escape room on the silver screen. With the lockdowns, I had a chance to revisit some of these films and rank my recommendations for escape room enthusiasts.
I was at a game store with a buy two get one deal- bought two escape room puzzles, and for my third, I picked this one.
August 1, 2020 – After a somewhat uneventful night with a hotel check-in and a cookie, Christina and I had a few plans for the day. Just about none of those things happened the way we planned.
The times we live in continue to be interesting and unprecedented, and I’m not sure what this weekend is going to look like. Regardless of any uncertainty, Christina and I hopped in the car, rented a hotel room, and headed up to Madison, Wisconsin.
